Vale do Tajá Farm, located in the municipality of Águas da Prata in the volcanic mountains, is owned by the couple João Otávio and Luciana Junqueira, both from farming families in the region. They acquired part of the Santa Maria farm, which has been in the family for three generations, and are now beginning the dream of restoring this beautiful area where coffee has a rich history! The farm is blessed with wonderful nature and has many attractions in addition to its perfect soil for cultivation. Among the mountains, there is a railway with a bridge and a tunnel where, during the 1932 revolution, clashes occurred between people from São Paulo and Minas Gerais! Springs, streams, and waterfalls—nature is the greatest wealth here, and through the work of restoring the riparian forests, they want to involve students from local schools. They are excited about this new chapter in their lives as they seek to return to their family roots.
